Case 1

Indication: History of fracture
?Osteoporosis

BMD shows Osteopenia (i.e. T score -1.0 to -2.5) at the right neck of femur & lumbar spine (L1-L4). She can be diagnosed with established Osteoporosis with minimal trauma fracture (despite BMD not in the Osteoporotic range). She has a high risk of further fractures and qualifies for Osteoporosis medication. Repeat BMD measurement in 2yrs recommended.

Case 2
